As the Engineering Honors Society, we are proud to support high academic achieving students and create a welcoming environment for them to prosper and support the engineering community. As a means to pass on knowledge, our members provide free tutoring to any students in the College of Engineering.
We host social, community service, and professional events to allow students to foster a spirit of liberal culture, to teach our members how to serve our communities with their skills, and to prepare students for the work industry. Additionally, Tau Beta Pi has a large and active alumni, which provides our students means to build a strong engineering network.

Tau Beta Pi focuses heavily on volunteering and giving back to our communities. Each semester we host an array of service events – these events range from K-12 MindSET, a volunteer event at local schools inspiring children to pursue STEM careers, to volunteering at Gleaners food bank or Arts and Scraps.
Getting students at the middle school level interested and involved in the STEM field through hands on fun experiments is the main goal of the K-12 MindSET program.
There is no other parallel to helping people by volunteering. It is a gift that is received by both sides.
Nobility is not confined to the past—It is how we conduct ourselves and the morals and ethics that we abide by. We are passionate about the cutting edge technology shaping our world today and helping community.
